Description The integrated convection fan disperses the warm air in the house. The best result is obtained if the pellet stove is located in the middle part of the lower floor of the house. The room temperature can be easily set on the control panel. When using a thermostat, the pellet stove is automatically turned on and off when the set temperature is reached. To fill the fireplace with pellets, open the hatch under the top panel of the fireplace. Thanks to the large volume, the fireplace rarely needs to be filled. The shutters and door of the filling device have safety switches. Along with the switches, two safety thermostats are installed in the safety coil to prevent overheating and flame flashback. Please note: If your home does not have a chimney, the Ekerum fireplace can be installed without it. This is made possible by the “Arrow” solution, which is an exhaust pipe with a fan that is led out through the wall. That is why KMP fireplaces are called chimneyless fireplaces. Description of the "Arrow" solution: The operation of the system is based on the fact that the built-in fan creates a negative pressure in the shell depending on how much air is needed for combustion. The hot flue gases drawn from the combustion chamber through the convection pipes and the flue gas tube are mixed with the outside air coming through the openings on the sides of the shell. In this way, the mixed flue gases are cooled to an extremely low temperature before being released into the open air. The controlled combustion of a pellet stove produces very little visible and noticeable smoke. Smoke can be seen and smelled during startup and shutdown for a very limited time (usually less than 1 min). To prevent smoke from entering the room, the wall fan should be located further away from fresh air intakes, doors or openable windows (more detailed minimum distances are specified in the user and installation instructions.)
